Setting Up Discount Codes

There are the editable characteristic's of a Discount Code.

Active - Tick the box to make your code active or untick it to make it unavailable.

Coupon
Name - An internal name, customers do not see this.
Coupon Code - The code a customer will use during checkout.
Discount Type - Different controls to change how your coupon is applied. See bottom of page for more info.
Discount - The value amount of your booking. (Enter 10 and it will be controlled by the discount type)
Apply on - Gross Total (Discount applied to the total booking payment) / Deposit Total (Discount applied to the first booking payment)
Use Multiplier
Display Banner - This will create a banner that is viewable by all customers on checkout, it is not specific to a code or event.
Autoapply - Tick to make your code automatically apply at checkout.

Limitations
Start From - Start date that the code can be used. (This is the date used not the event date)
Valid Until - End date that the code can be used. (This is the date used not the event date)
Day of Week - If unticked then a code will not apply to events/bookings on that day.
Total Coupons - This is the total amount of this coupon all time.
User Per User - The total number of times a customer can use the code, this is controlled by their email only.
Can use again (in minutes) - This allows a customer to re-use a code after the added amount of time has passed.
Uses per user per day - The total number of times a customer can use the code in one day, this is controlled by their email.
Min Amount - The minimum amount a customer's basket needs to reach for the code to work.
Max Amount - The maximum amount that a code will work on.
Min Product Group/Max Product Group - Groups can be applied to a product to restrict which products a code can be applied to. Use the minimum and maximum to set a single or multiple groups. Speak to your account manager to activate this feature.

Discount Types
Fixed - The exact number amount of your discount that will be removed from the booking. Can be used multiple times.
Fixed up to exact amount - The total value of a coupon, once the value is reached the coupon wont work anymore.
Fixed per person - This will multiply the value of your coupon by the number of people in the booking.
Fixed per quantityThis will multiply the value of your coupon by the number of items in the booking.
Percentage - A fixed percentage amount.
Percentage per person - This will multiply the percentage number (Discount)by the number of people in the booking.
Qty - If buying one or multiple products would allow the customer to receive one or multiple products for free you can use this setting.
