Step 1: Getting Set Up

Follow these steps to get your venue set up for in person payments through your existing Ryft account.

If you're currently using Dojo to take payments on site please speak with your account manager before continuing.

On your Booked it dashboard.

1. Navigate to Settings.
   
2. Under the Ryft Pay section.
   
3. Tick Yes under 'Enable Ryft Terminals functionality for order payments'
   

On your Ryft dashboard.

1. Click your name in the top right hand corner.
   
2. Select Terminals.
   
3. Switch to the Locations tab.
   
4. Create a new location using the name of the venue

If you manage multiple sites through a single Ryft account then you should create one location per venue.

On your Ryft dashboard.

You should now see a Shop heading across the top of the page. From here you can purchase the devices you would like to use.

There are four devices available currently.

PAX A35 - This device connects with an ethernet cable and is fixed to a location due to the ethernet cable, can also be attached to kiosks.

PAX A35 Wifi Enabled - This device connects with an ethernet cable, has Wifi as a back up connectivity option, and is fixed to a location.
PAX A50 - This pocket sized device is Wifi only but can be moved around the venue, it will work as long as it's connected to the wifi.

PAX A920 Pro - Slightly larger than the A50, this device is Wifi enabled and comes with a built in printer.
