Step 3: Registering your device
After completing the Getting Set Up article, you're ready to register a device. This can only be completed once you have received the device.
- Login to your Ryft account and click the profile icon in the top right hand corner.
- Select Terminals from the drop down and then select the Devices tab.
- Click the Register button and complete the form based on your venue.
- Memorable Name: Optional but recommended, add a simple name to help keep track of devices.
- Serial Number: This can be found on the back of the device in the format S/N: 12345678 (enter the numbers only)
- Location: Select the location of the device from the drop down.
After completing these steps your device should now be selectable when creating manual bookings on the Booked it dashboard under the heading 'Terminal'. This is for the standard manual booking journey only and will look different if using any other in-person booking journey.
